On Page Optimization


"On Page Optimization" is the part of SEO another is "Off Page Optimization". Today's topic was specifically the first one. On page optimization is to be at the top, something must be telling Google that they are extremely relevant for that keyword.



For better optimization, there are some elements and factors which must optimized to bring that page in the few first search results. These are the following:

1.  SEO Friendly Permalink URL's: Page URL's should be short and keyword enriched.

2. Start Title With Keyword: Title tag is the most important on page-SEO element. It helps to rank higher in search results.



3. Dazzle With Multimedia: Using pictures, videos and diagrams can reduce bounce rate and increases visitors time spending on the site.

4. Use Outbound Links: Outbound links related with the page help to increases rank in the Google.It is advised to use authority sites e.g. Wikipedia.org, but should be limited.

5. Drop Keyword In First 100 words: The keyword should appear 100-150 words of the articles. It emphasizes that the content of articles is about that keyword.


6. Wrap Your Title In H1 Tag: H1 tag is headline tag. Most of the blog platforms automatically add H1 tag in the posted title, but there are some exception also. So the site's code should be checked.

7. Nail Loading Speed: From a study, it is said that the page which takes more than 4 seconds to load looses visitors. So it is very much important issue. Compressed pictures, diagrams or videos should be used as well as the faster hosting.

 8. Add Modifiers to The Title: Adding modifiers like "2014", "best", "guide" etc  can help to rank for long tail versions of the targeted keywords.

9. Use Social Sharing buttons: Social sharing buttons now a days become larger parts of search engine algorithms. Social sharing button can increase social sharing by maximum 700%.

10. Post Long Content: Length is Strength. It is ideal to maintain at least 1500 words in a content. It is found that longer content ranked significantly higher in Google.

11. Slash Bounce Rate: A bounce is term used by search engines is when a visitor quickly leaves the site. Below 50% or equal bounce rate is considered as good rate. 70% or higher is bad. Adding images and videos decreases bounce rate.

12. Sprinkle LSI Keywords: Generally LSI keywords are the synonyms that Google uses to determine a page's relevancy and possibly quality. LSI keywords can be find at the bottom of the Google search results showing "Searches related to..." or by entering keyword into the Google Keyword Planner. 

13. Internal Linking: Maintaining some internal links that should be relevant with the content of the page or blog. 

14. H2 and H3 Tags: H2 and H3 tags are not so important. So these are not used usually.

15. Image Optimization: By reducing image size keeping a good quality and the uploaded image should be saved with possible keywords before uploading.

16: Meta Description tags: Meta description tags should be within 150-155 characters ideally. It is also a important part, so should be unique.

17. Title Tag: The keywords should be used at least one time in the title tag. This will increase to be found easily if someone tries to search with keywords. 

18. Canonicalisation Of Duplicate Content: It can cause the penalization of the site, so the ranking goes down or even deleted from the web is the case is extreme.

    1. H1 tag makes a site more optimized than using H2/H3 tag. As we know google rank those website high which is optimized more.
